| Not all Sonic games were equal in popularity, but it seems they pretty much all got CD soundtracks. Also on this page are some compilations for both Sonic, and Sonic Team. This is by no means the end of the Sonic music, and more items will appear here when they're discovered. | Sonic the Fighters, the strange and unusual arcade game even got a soundtrack. This was the oddest (and hardest to get) Sonic game next to Sonic the Arcade, which used a trackball and has still not been released to a compilation disk on any system in 2007. The CD cover features the Fighters symbol, and the back has most of the cast in all their virtua-fighter like square polygonal 'glory'.
This one could be relativly hard to collect due to the non-popularity of the game, and the fact that it was only released somewhat after the game came out. |

| Curiously enough, this Sonic R CD Soundtrack was released -way- after Sonic R itself. As you can see, the cover has Sonic Adventure 1 style Sonic on it, an updated look which came along way after the original game. Sonic R was one of the first Sonic games to have actual vocal tracks in it. (with Sonic CD being the first). The tunes here were very catchy (so much so many people were frusterated with them) and had a very happy style. |

| Despite the more modern release, the cover still manages to have a somewhat strange poem or motto on it. It reads: "Reach for a new Dimension. Ready for a new excitement. Road leads you to a new world. Rivals are here. Race it for the victory. R is it" |

This is more of a "Sonic Team" CD then it is a Sonic CD. Despite the entire back cover being taken up by a graphic of Sonic's eyes, he has just 1 song on the disk. The cover has a variety of characters from Sonic Teams games, including Billy Hatcher, NiGHTS, a nightopia, Ash, Ulala, two of the Burning Rangers and some Morolians--all using recycled art. If you like many of the games Sonic Team produces, this is a good one to collect.

For Sonic's 10th Anniversary, they released a nice free kit of Sonic stuff. This is actually a cardboard box with gold foil embossing on it, which makes it difficult to scan or photograph. (it is mirror-like) You can feel the indented design. This box contains a CD, a special metal coin, and a booklet about Sonic. It's HIGHLY collectible, and appears (opened/display) elsewhere on the site.*
| The CD has a nice selection of Sonic music throughout the years, and across the systems. If you want a great sampling of Sonic music, this is a wonderful one to collect, both because of historical Sonic signifigance, and the nice variety. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

This is "Work it Out" an EP from Richard Jacques that was produced in NY but could be imported by other countries. There was some legal debate over using TJ Davis' vocals for the EP so TJ's vocals were replaced with Dee Dee Brave's. The EP has 4 tracks, the most interesting mix being the one by Hex Hector, who did some stuff a few years back that won himself a Grammy for best remixer of 2001. The 4 tracks are Eric Kupper Classic, Eric Kupper Dub, Hex Hector Dub, Ground Control Dub. Photos and info provided by The Iron Hedgehog. | ![]() |

This CD is called "True Blue the best of Sonic the Hedgehog". It seems to focus on more modern music (ie, no green hill etc) and even contains 4 bonus tracks which are re-mixes and other versions of the music . With loads of great tracks that have real variety, plus the remixes, you're really getting a cool CD if you can track this one down. Sold in the USA, owned & photographed by Kirchu | ![]() |
